Funeral services for Dr. Gladys Marie Corley of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Grace Baptist Church with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Phillip Sterling will officiate.

     Visitation is Friday from noon until 7 p.m. with family present from 6 until 7 p.m. at R.E. Tyler Funeral Home.

     Dr. Corley, 43, died Oct. 26, 2012, at her residence. She was born June 10, 1969, in Jackson.

     She was employed as a pharmacist with Walgreen’s in Philadelphia, Pa.

     Dr. Corley was a graduate of Brookhaven High School. She received a degree in Chemical Engineering at Prairie View A&M in Prairie View, Texas, and a pharmacy degree at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. She was currently a candidate in the doctoral program at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa.

     She is survived by her mother, Renee Corley, of Brookhaven; a daughter, Melony Corley, of Brookhaven; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
