Funeral services for Curtis Young Davis of Bogue Chitto are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel, on Natchez Drive, with burial in Rawls Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

     Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mr. Davis, 85, died Dec. 3, 2012, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born in Madison County on Dec. 4, 1926, to the late Henry C. Davis and Maggie Bell Harris Davis.

     Mr. Davis was a farmer and of the Baptist faith

     He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruby Mae Durham Davis; two sisters, Pearl Bailey and Annie Leggett; and one brother, Harris Davis.

     Survivors include two daughters, Linda Blake and husband, Danny, of Natchez, and Loretta Davis of West Monroe, La.; four sons, Steve Davis and wife, Diana, Sherman Davis and wife, Louise, William Davis and wife, Kay, and Greg Davis and wife, Patsy, all of Bogue Chitto; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
