Funeral services for Mary Floyce Britt of Hattiesburg are 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burial in Rosehill Cemetery.

     Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Britt, 88, died Dec. 3, 2012, at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg. She was born in Brookhaven on Nov. 8, 1924, to Lonnie Smith and Lilian Britt.

     Mrs. Britt was a homemaker and the former owner of The Fancy Lady Dress Shop in Brookhaven. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hattiesburg.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Virgil Britt Sr.; her daughter, Mary Marlin Britt Fowler; and two brothers, Mitchell Smith and Alton Smith.

     Survivors include her sons, Virgil Britt Jr. and his wife, Judy Katherine, Anthony Wayne Britt Sr. and Stacy Dean Britt Sr., all of Hattiesburg; her daughter, Demple Joy Britt Smith and her husband, Michael T. Smith, of Hattiesburg; her grandchildren, Virgil Chadwick Britt III, Corey Andral Britt, Lori Paige Britt Mills, Anthony Wayne Britt Jr., Stacy Dean Britt Jr., Russell Leon Fowler Jr., Brittany Joy Smith Read and Brandi Michelle Smith; great-grandchildren, Addison Paige Mills, Avril Mae Britt and Chaden Bond Britt.
