Funeral services for Dr. Burton Friedman, of Wesson, were 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, at his home, with burial in the family cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

     Mr. Friedman, 88, died Dec. 6, 2012, at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Nat and Tillie Bergstein Friedman.

     He was a retired doctor.

     Preceding him in death were his parents; son Pann Isaac Friedman; and brother, George Friedman.

     Survivors are his sons, David Friedman and wife, Editha, of Germantown, Tenn., Loren Friedman, of Dayton, Ohio, and Paul Friedman, of Wesson; daughters, Sandra Liverman and husband, Steve, of Wesson, and Ruth Doctor, of Brandon; sister, Arlyn Fischer; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
