In observance of Christmas and New Year’s, the following offices will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day: Mississippi Highway Patrol, Brookhaven and Bude and Meadville city offices, and all county offices for Copiah, Franklin, Lawrence and Lincoln counties.

     The Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce will be closed Christmas week, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

     The Daily Leader will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day and the newspaper’s business office will be open until noon on Christmas Eve. Sunday’s newspaper will be published as usual and publication will resume with Wednesday’s edition.

     The Brookhaven Post Office will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day.

     Monticello city office will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Day and will be open until noon on New Year’s Eve.

     Wesson city office will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

     Waste Pro will run its Tuesday city route on Friday; its Tuesday county route on Saturday; and its Tuesday recycle route on Saturday, for Christmas and New Year’s.
