Annie Laura Martin Tucker went with our Lord and Savior to her Heavenly Home on Jan. 14, 2013. Mrs. Tucker was born on Feb. 22, 1933, to J.P. “Bud” and Bertha Hamilton Martin.

Mrs. Tucker attended Sandhill School, Copiah-Lincoln Junior College and business college. After living in Detroit and Jackson, she and her husband returned home to Wesson. “Grannie” was the secretary at Wesson Attendance Center for more than 20 years where each child knew her caring nature and could always expect a smile and get a hug. Her grace, dignity, humility, humor and unflinching Christian faith exhibited throughout her life continued during her courageous fight with cancer.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Curtis Tucker; her parents; and brothers Ray, Pete, Roy and P.L. “Buddy Boy” Martin.
