FLOWOOD – Ryan Buchanan scored 13 points and Richard Baird 10 in sparking Jackson Prep’s Patriots to a 43-30 Tuesday night win over the Brookhaven Academy Cougars.

Jackson Prep beat the Lady Cougars 59-27 but additional information was unavailable at press time.

Brookhaven Academy travels to Wilkinson County Christian Academy in Woodville Thursday night. The Cougars and Lady Cougars are at Bowling Green in Franklinton, La. on Saturday.

The Cougars (13-8) encountered another Class AAA powerhouse last night. They trailed 24-15 at halftime.

Ten points and 6 rebounds by Gage Posey directed the Cougars. Matthew Evans made 6 assists and grabbed 5 rebounds.
