Funeral services for David Brian Lambert of Monticello are 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4, at Wilson Funeral Home, with burial in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Lambert, 40, died Feb. 1, 2013, in an automobile accident in Lawrence County. He was born on Jan. 16, 1973.

He was known as “Biscuit” by many. He loved horses and people and really enjoyed making everyone smile and laugh. Mr. Lambert really loved his family and friends.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Linda Catt Lambert.

Survivors are his father, James Drury Lambert of Monticello; fiancée, Page Turnage of Jayess; brother, James Drury Lambert Jr. of Jayess; sister/aunt, Ruthie Catt Stewart, and husband, Billy, of Brookhaven; children, Warren Buffington and Emeral Buffington of Oakvale, Taylor Turnage, Logan Stapleton, Coby Nations and Sawyer Nations, all of Monticello; grandchild, Brooklyn Stapleton of McComb; uncles and aunts, Hughey Catt and wife, Linda, of Jayess, T.D. Catt and wife, Peggy, of Wilmer Ala., Alice Lee and husband, Bobby, of New Hebron, Paul Catt of Jayess, Mary Case and husband, Eddie, of Brookhaven, Amy Wages of Fernwood, Mike Catt of Jayess, Johnny Catt and wife, Kim, of Jayess, Doris Shaw of Jayess and Daisy Barr of Monticello; and a host of nieces and nephews and several cousins.
