Funeral services for Thomas William Stockton Sr. of the Enon community are 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, at Enon Baptist Church, with burial with military honors in Enon Cemetery. The Revs. David Hedden, Danny Smith and Floyd Davis will officiate. Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home in McComb is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 until 11 a.m., both at the church.

Mr. Stockton, 69, died Feb. 16, 2013, at his home. He was born in Pike County on July 16, 1943 to Marvin Henry and Louise Reid Stockton.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a longtime member of Enon Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife JoAnn Whitehead Stockton; and a daughter, Janette Jobe.

Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas W. Stockton Jr. and Melody of Smyrna, Tenn; two daughters, Michelle and Amy Durham of Baton Rouge; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Billy Moak of Baker, La., and Diane and Hewitt McCullough of Enon; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Watts, Joseph Watts, William Moak, Troy McCullough, Ronnie Campbell and Lane Ball. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Campbell, Shot Dunaway, Robert Stockton and members of the Louie Huhn Sunday School Class.
