Bentley Sills tripled and singled in sparking the host West Lincoln Lady Bears in an 11-4 Tuesday softball victory against Tylertown’s Lady Chiefs. Winning pitcher Malori Hall struck out 7 batters and walked 7.

Coach Andrew Redd’s Lady Bears finished with 9 hits. Brianna Fauver collected 3 singles. Heather Moak and Micah Redd doubled. Peyton White, and Layton Sills singled as they raced to a 7-0, fifth-inning lead.

Angel Thornton fanned 7 and walked 2 in a losing cause.

Tylertown was directed by Thornton’s double. Paige Harvey, Alisha Fortenberry and Shanice Myers singled.

JV Results

In the preliminary junior varsity game, West Lincoln won 6-4, led by Hannah Moak’s triple. Anna Brooke Davis, Makenna Redd, Cadie Maxwell and Brooks Thomas singled.
