Loyd Star dominated the Puckett Wolves in Class 2A tennis as the Hornetse posted a 6-1 victory for Coach Rhonda Hart. The Hornets were led by Connor Crosby in boys singles and Natalie Smith in girls singles as they won in straight sets.

Saturday’s Lincoln County Tournament at Brookhill was cancelled due to the cold weather. Loyd Star hosts Piney Woods Tuesday, starting at 4 p.m. on the Brookhaven City Courts.
