Funeral services for Charlene Betty Sandidge Williams of Brookhaven are 10 a.m. on Monday, May 13, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Easthaven Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Williams, 84, died May 10, 2013 at her home. She was born in Mississippi on June 13, 1928 to Harvey “Rex” R. Sandidge and Minnie Butler Sandidge.
She was a retired inspector at Gaylord Bag Plant and a member of Johnson Grove Church of Christ.
Preceding her in death were her parents, brother, Harvey R. Sandidge Jr., and sister, Clara M. Leggett.
Survivors are her husband, James “Jim” Williams Jr.; daughters, Barbara Jean Giacone, and husband, Roy, of Covington, La., Jeanette Parker, and husband, Stuart, of Bogalusa, La., and Vicki Lynn Miller, of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; brothers, Sidney Sandidge, of Brookhaven, and Billy Wayne Sandidge, of Lexington Park, Md.; sister, Margie Case Smith, of Brookhaven; nine grandchildren, Kevin Michael Giacone, Bryan Paul Giacone, and wife, Beth, Barry Parker, and wife, Heather, Wade Parker, and wife, Shannon, Darren Parker, Toby Miller, and wife, Jill, Trent Miller, and wife, Kim, Terry Herndon and Denny Miller, and wife, Amanda; and 16 great-grandchildren.
