Funeral services for Michael Craig Brown of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.
Visitation is Tuesday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Brown, 61, died May 25, 2013 at G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on Oct. 19, 1951.
He was a graduate of Brookhaven High School and Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He volunteered with the U.S. Air Force and was employed at Engineering Services as a computer draftsman. He enjoyed listening to his favorite band, Acoustic Crossroads. He had many friends and enjoyed helping who he could. He was of the Baptist faith. He will be missed and we have the comfort of knowing he is in God’s care.
Preceding him in death were his father, Lawrence L. Brown Sr., and brother, Phillip Mitchell Brown.
Survivors are his mother, Francis Louise Cook Brown; brother, Lawrence L. Brown Jr.; sons, Chris Brown and Nick Brown; and nieces and nephews, Sara Highfill, Andy Highfill, Levi Highfill, Chelsie Bowlin, Clay Bowlin and Lucas Bowlin.
