Funeral services for James William Loving of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Friday, May 31, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive, with burial in Rosehill Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 9 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Loving, 89, died May 29, 2013 at Countrybrook Living Center.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He was also an active Mason in the Brookhaven Lodge.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Nellie Marie Loving; two brothers, Joe and Jesse Lee Loving; and his stepson, Lamar Wallace.

Survivors are his son, Jamie Loving, wife, Amy, and their children, Tanner Britt and Gavin Loving, of Bogue Chitto; stepchildren, Shirley Arnold, Lewis Wallace and Peggy May; nephews, Richard Loving and Joe Loving; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
