Michael Gates and Craig Smith combined talents to win the Championship Flight in the Brookhaven Country Club’s annual 4-Ball Tournament. They shot a 2-day total of 18-under par 61-61-122 and edged two runner-up teams: Don Coleman- Grant McDonnieal and Randall Stafford-Jay Leblanc, by one stroke.

A total of 55 teams competed in the tourney.

Kent Allen and Brian Joe King won the First Flight. Craig Smith and Allen Kent tied Prentiss Grant and Kevin Dutil for the top rung in the Second Flight.

In the Third Flight, J. Hugh Smith and A.P. Ponder shared first place with Robert Hyer and Daniel Whittington.

Dwayne Wooten and Red Wooten won the Fourth Flight.
