CLINTON – The 41st Annual Mississippi Association of Coaches Hall of Fame Induction & Awards Banquet, sponsored by BankPlus, will be held on Friday, at 6:30 PM at the Hilton Hotel in Jackson off County Line Road and I-55 North.

With the induction of five new members in the Class of 2013, the MAC Hall of Fame membership will increase to 212 total; 200 lifetime and 12 honorary members. The MAC Coaches Hall of Fame was created in 1973.

The MAC Hall of Fame Class of 2013 includes:

DAVID BRADBERRY, championship football coach from Sturgis whose 40-year career included stops at Warren Central, Greenwood, Clinton, St. Andrew’s, and Tupelo; compiled an overall record of 200 wins and 87 losses; member of the Delta State & East Mississippi CC Sports Halls of Fame.

JERRY HENDERSON, Neshoba County native and graduate of Jackson Provine, Mississippi State, and Mississippi College who was a 47-year coaching veteran; led Madison Ridgeland High to 1983 state title; guided Warren Central to state championships in 1986, 1987, & 1989; led Mississippi State Lady Bulldogs from 1989-1995; led his prep boys & girls basketball teams to 896 wins and 351 losses plus 90 tournament championships.

LEE HILL, renowned basketball, baseball, and track coach at Collins High who hails from Eupora and graduated from Rust College, Southern Miss, and William Carey; 34-year career was spent at the same school as he led the boys hoops team to a record of 525 wins and 220 losses plus 2 conference, 7 district, and 2 South State crowns; coached several notable players who would later excel in college and the pro ranks.

RUDOLPH SELLERS, notable championship basketball coach at Lucedale and George County who hails from Ellisville and graduate of Jones Junior College & Southern Miss; 38-year coaching guru who guided George County to the 1976 Class 2A state championship; led his boys & girls basketball teams to 63 tournament titles and an overall record of 733-463.

TONY STANFORD, Kosciusko native and graduate of Holmes CC, Delta State, and Mississippi State who was an outstanding championship football coach at Louisville; also coached at Choctaw Central, Philadelphia, Kosciusko, Lumberton, Neshoba Central, Morton, Carroll Academy, and present position at Columbus; guided Louisville gridiron team to 4 division crowns, 1 North State title, and the 1995 Class 4A State Championship; led his football teams to an overall record of 212 wins and 120 losses; served the MAC as Vice President & President from 2002 to 2004.
