McComb beats LC in 1st of 3

     The McComb All-Stars captured a 12-1 victory against the Lincoln County 11-year-old Americans Friday night in the first of the best-of-three series at Keystone Park.

     Despite Lincoln County pitcher Trey Fortenberry’s five strikeouts, he also threw five walks to put runners in key scoring position.

     McComb pitcher Preston Alexander threw two strikeouts and two walks.

     Alexander also pulled his weight offensively with two base hits.
