Funeral services for Peggy Ann Hall of Wesson were 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, at Sardis Baptist Church, with burial in Wesson Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hall, 69, died July 20, 2013 at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst. She was born in Hazlehurst on March 4, 1944 to Grady Smith and Mozelle Weathersby Smith.

She was a member of Pine Bluff Baptist Church, and was a housewife and former garment factory worker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, David Wayne Hall; two brothers, Grady Smith and Charles Wayne Smith; and one sister, Lillian Barlow.

Survivors are her two daughters, Darlene Bates and husband, Joe, of Wesson, and Diane Lambert and husband, Mark, of Monticello; one son, Marcel McCardle and wife, Brenda, of Monticello; seven grandsons, Matthew Lambert, Nick Lambert, Jamie McCardle, Tony Bates, Andy Bates, Cameron McCardle and Joseph McCardle; one granddaughter, Catrina Hall; five sisters, Mary Hartzog, Kathy Cooper, Libby Smith, Rachel Case and Inez McDaniel; and six brothers, Howard Smith, Lawrence Smith, Cecil Smith, Pat Smith, Brant Smith and Rance Smith.
