Services for Mavis S. Smith of Brookhaven were 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at Damascus Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Harrigill Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. The Rev. Leland Smith officiated.

Mrs. Smith, 93, died Aug. 4, 2013 at Willow Creek Nursing Home in Byram. She was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 7, 1920.
