Funeral services for Elizabeth Hendren Cochran of Bogue Chitto are 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto, with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Cochran, 93, died Aug. 7, 2013 at her home. She was born in Tennessee on Sept. 9, 1919 to O.D. Hendren and Bessie Hendren.

She was a retired assistant director of Community Services for Senior Citizens and a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Emmett Keith Cochran; parents; daughter, Patricia Causey and husband, Curtis; brothers, Julian “Son” Hendren and Marvin “Hink” Hendren; and sisters, Anna Kate “Sis” Shultz and Frances “Dike” Coffman.

Survivors are her son, Kenneth W. Causey of Lithia Springs, Ga.; daughters, Cathy Jones and husband, Steve, of Bogue Chitto, and Susan Cochran of Bogue Chitto; five grandchildren, Michael Burkett and wife, Lori, of Carriere, Keith Burkett and wife, Kim, of McComb, Laurie Hill and husband, Toby, of Clinton, Mandy Hoyle and husband, Brian, of Raleigh, N.C., and Brady Jones and wife, Lauren, of McComb; eight great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kylee Hill, Lana and Payton Burkett, Maggie, Meredith and Max Jones and Isla Hoyle; and a host of nieces and nephews of whom all thought they were Aunt B’s favorite (and they were).

Memorials may be made to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
