West Lincoln’s Lady Bears blasted the McComb Lady Tigers 12-2 Tuesday night in slowpitch softball at the Cow Palace. Coach Andrew Redd’s team collected 18 hits in the blowout victory.

Two singles and a double by Heather Moak powered the attack. Moak (1K, 0BB) also pitched the victory.

Destiny Allen singled and doubled for the Bears. Addie Spring, Malori Hall, Layton Sills and Micah Redd singled twice. Singles were added by Bentley Sills, Alli Mullins and Brianna Fauver.

McComb, coached by West Lincoln alumnus Cody Hall, got 3 singles from Leyton Terrell. Paige Brock doubled and Isis Tucker singled twice. Dorian Felder, Kristen Johnson, Frenesha Harris and Ashley Bonds also hit safely.

Terrell (0K, 5BB) was the losing pitcher.

West Lincoln romped to a 14-2 decision in the preliminary JV game, led by Anna Brooke Davis who doubled and singled. Brittney Hill doubled. Cadie Maxwell singled twice. Damesha Deer, Sara Jane Doty, Katelyn Travis, Millane Lewis, Peyton White and winning pitcher Makenna Redd singled.
