Donna Lynn Williams McLeod, 46, went to be with our Lord on Sept. 13, 2013. She was born in Brookhaven on Oct. 19, 1966, to Joseph Jeddiah Williams and Lynda Carlisle Williams of Brookhaven.

Donna graduated from Loyd Star High School and attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and was employed at McDonald’s in Brookhaven.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles and Genevieve Williams, and her maternal grandparents, Walter and Susie Carlisle. She is also preceded in death by her uncle, the Rev. John Carlisle, and aunt, Lessie Touchstone.

Funeral services will be at Macedonia Baptist Church, Monday, Sept. 16, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is Monday from noon until 2 p.m. at the church, and Sunday, Sept. 15, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home, Natchez Drive location.

Donna is survived by her parents; her two sons, Jonothan D. Williams and his fiancée, Candace Coley, and Joseph R. McLeod; daughter, Angel S. McLeod; brother, Joe Williams and wife, Hilary; grandchild, Paxton; fiancé, Bryan Allmon, all of Brookhaven; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
