Funeral services for Benjamin David White, of McComb, are at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Fair River Baptist Church.

Visitation is 3:30 till 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. White, 70, died Sept. 19, 2013, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb. He was born on June 8, 1943, in Sontag.

Mr. White played as a pitcher for Thames and Eady, a carpet business, for over 38 years. He was loyal fan to the Atlanta Braves and he loved to hunt and fish. He was a retired as an Industrial Mechanic for Keystone Seneca. He was a member of Fair River Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy and Bertie White; his son, Jamie White; his sister, Maxine Purser; and his brother, J.E. White Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Lavon Thornhill White; daughter, Robin Smith and husband Ronnie; daughter-in-law, Tina Hux White; sisters, Betty Terry and Bonnie Chance; grandchildren, Jamie Ryan White, William Cody White, Emily Ann White, Benjamin Jake Smith, Samuel Smith, Gabriel Smith, Laci Marie Dickerson, Holly Nicole Dickerson, and Heather Lynn Williams; and great-grandchildren, Mira McClendon, Liam Copeland, Brittlee Dickerson, Mattie Dickerson, Kameron Dickerson and Geran Williams.
