WESSON – The Wolf Hollow Golf Club team captured the Norwood Cup after two days of competition against the Brookhaven Country Club team. In a hard-fought battle at Wolf Hollow Golf Club Sunday, the Wolf Hollow team rallied in the singles matches to win the contest in a nail biter 22-18 over the BCC team.

Wolf Hollow, captained by Ryan Case, had trailed the BCC team 10.5-9.5 after Saturday’s action at the BCC. They had played a 9-hole, alternate shot in the morning and an 18-hole, 4-ball in the afternoon.

On Sunday, the two 20-man teams competed in an 18-hole single match play event. Wolf Hollow prevailed 12.5-7.5 over the Brookhaven Country Club. The BCC squad was captained by Keith McGowen.
