Funeral services for Janice Kay Reid, of Jayess, are at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20, at Riverwood Chapel with burial in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Oct. 20, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.

Mrs. Reid, 62 passed away Oct. 18, 2013, at her residence. She was born on September 12, 1951 to Travis “Trabo” Davis and Lottie Mae Baker Davis.

She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Brenda Gale Brown.

She is survived by her husband, Mitchell D. Reid; daughters, Maela Badon and husband, Mickey, of McComb, Rita Badon and husband, Jimmy, of Bogue Chitto, Melanie Drake, of Gulfport, Mandy Sykes and husband, Matt, of Bogue Chitto; son, Cory Whittington and wife, Tiffany, of Bogue Chitto; grandchild, Zayne Badon; grandchildren by faith, Jeremy and Jayanna Whittington, Jaycee, Katelynn Palmer, Laci Sykes, EmaLeigh “Breezy” Privatte, Bradley Alexander, Halee Alexander, Bentley Alexander and John Michael Joffrion; mother and father-in-law, June and Jessie Reid; and special friends, Jessie and Carol Alexander and Dudley Leake; special members of the family, Brandy Alexander, Braden Alexander, Todd Alexander, Heather Alexander, and Stephen and Tiffany Alexander.
