Dinner will be served at 6 p.m with celebrity waiters dressed in costume pouring tea and entertaining guests as they raise tips for the animals.

The meal will include smoked pork, cooked by “smoker extraordinaire” Jimmy Jackson, along with all the trimmings donated by Cracker Barrel BBQ, Poppa’s Fish House, Mississippi Ice Cream Factory and The Feed Meal.

A silent auction will be ongoing throughout the evening, and a live auction with professional auctioneer, Kendall Covington, will round out the night’s activities.

The master of ceremonies, Rob Fisher, will keep the night rolling along as money is raised for the animals.

A few of the Celebrity Waiters include Dr. Ryan Case, Mayor Joe Cox, David Culpepper, Marlene Cupit, Rep. Becky Currie, Sen. Sally Doty, Shaw Furlow, Coney Lea, Sherri Mathis, Dr. Ray Montalvo, Lindsey Robinson and Dr. Bob Watson.

Two of the big-ticket items secured for the auction include a week’s condo rental in Ft. Walton and a guided fishing trip.

More than 140 items will be part of the auction, including grooming services from The Dog House and Classy Clips, a year’s subscription to The Daily Leader, a load of mulch from Phillip’s Bark and autographed DVDs and posters by Zac Efron.

Other items to expect include bicycles, a jig saw, jewelry, beauty products, home decoritems and several pieces of art.

“Gift certificates for services are always popular in the Silent Auction, and we have such a variety to offer: haircuts, therapy session, oil changes, massages, dinners, and horseback riding lessons,” said Adcock.
