Enterprise splits with West Lincoln

The West Lincoln junior high basketball teams opened the 2013-2013 season against their Lincoln County rivals the Enterprise Jackets Thursday night in Jack Case Gymnasium.
The Lady Jackets defeated the Lady Bears 40-28. Enterprise was led by Monisha Pendleton’s 16-point effort, while Carlee Nations chipped in 11 points, Jana Case led the Lady Bears with 10 points.
The Bears rolled past the Jackets 43-29. Nick Brumfield paced West Lincoln with 14 points, while Landon Lynch added seven points. Jantavius Smith was the leading scorer for Enterprise with 17 points.
Enterprise was victorious in a pair of seventh grade games. The Lady Jackets defeated the Lady Bears 12-9, while Enterprise cruised to a 23-11 victory over West Lincoln.
West Lincoln’s junior high will resume play Tuesday, Nov. 5, at Loyd Star for four games starting at 4 p.m. Enterprise will host Loyd Star this Tuesday for four games beginning at 4 p.m.
