Memorial services for Cindy Sue Calcote Case of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, at New Hope Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Case, 50, went to her heavenly home on Monday, Nov. 11, after a long illness.

She was born Oct. 30, 1963, to Dale and Linda Calcote of the Loyd Star/Caseyville community.

Being a member of a dairy-farming family, Cindy experienced both the pleasures and responsibilities of life on a farm along with her brothers, Mark and Dean. After graduating Loyd Star School, she graduated from Copiah-Lincoln and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. For many years she worked at her father’s store, Calcote’s Grocery in Caseyville.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Dean Calcote; niece, Emily Barber; and grandparents, Fred and Winnie Calcote and Bernadine Huckaby.

She is survived by her loving and faithful daughter, Lyndie Bowling and son-in-law, Randin; two precious grandchildren, Ralston and Jaycie; her brother Mark, and sister-in-law Linda; niece, Michelle Chambers, and husband, Lindsey; and great-niece, Bella; her husband, Donnie Case; her loving in-laws, Minnie and Alton Case; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Her family wishes to thank her devoted caregivers, Bridget Jordan and Debra Collins.
