Funeral services for Robert J. Porter of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Bogue Chitto with burial in the church Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. and Family Hour from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Porter, 71, died Nov. 20, 2013, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born in Bogue Chitto on July 14, 1942, to the late Jimmie Porter and Mammie Smith Porter.
