Funeral services Jack Herman Jordan of Madison, and formerly of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Jordan, 92, of Madison died Dec. 1, 2013, at his residence. He was born on July 15, 1921, to James Hosea Jordan and Alma Thompson Jordan.
He was a retired veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II in both the European and Pacific Theaters. He also retired from The Illinois Central Railroad. He was a member of Lake Harbor Drive Church of Christ, the VFW and also served as a Mason.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Inez Helen Crider Jordan; his parents, and a sister, Virginia Westbrook.
He is survived by his son, James Albert Jordan; four grandchildren, Michelle Jerome, Eric Jordan, Ann Marshall and Jamie Pennington; and numerous great-grandchildren. He is also survived by longtime caregiver and brother in Christ, Johnny Sisco.
