Funeral services for Lavelle Case Williams of Brookhaven are 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Williams, 84, died on Dec. 5, 2013, at Haven Hall Health Care Center. She was born on March 10, 1929, to Ira Columbus Case and Ethel Vaughn Case.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Hebert Kenneth Williams; grandson, Bradley Williams and daughter, Cindy Gail Williams.

She is survived by her sons, John L. Williams and wife, Martha; Gerald J. Williams and wife, Pat and Joe Paul Williams; daughters, Linda Joy Williams and Celia Kay Sayers; brothers, James Case and wife, Johnny Mae and Harold Case and wife, Carolyn; sister, Margaret Ann Britt and husband, Howard, all of Brookhaven.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dana Lambert of Brookhaven, Chad Williams and wife, Sally of Jackson; Ben Williams of the Gulf Coast; Sarah Sayers Greer and husband, Timothy of Florence; three great grandchildren, Hayden Lambert, Lily Lambert and Mattie Greer. Other survivors are her brother-in-law, Gary Williams and wife, Judy of Brandon and her sister-in-law, Carol Jean Ball and husband, Marion of Jackson, Ala. She is also survived by a loving cousin, Annie Clara Smith of Brookhaven and her only surviving uncle, Julius Vaughan.
