Funeral services for Barbara Carlisle Rutledge of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Holly Springs Cemetery. Harrigill Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rutledge, 81, died Dec. 22, 2013, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb.

She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on May 14, 1932, to Denon Carlisle and Vivian Harvill Carlisle.

She was a homemaker and a member of Heucks Retreat Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, James Glynn Rutledge Jr.; her brother, J.D. Carlisle; three sisters, Montee Rudder McEwen, Lina C. Brister, and Lois C. Barlow; and her daughter, Alma Grace Foster.

Survivors include her sons, James Glynn Rutledge of Wesson and Freddie Rutledge of Brookhaven; daughters, Deborah Sue Jackson and husband, Mark, of Willard, Mo., and Christina Tikirroglu and husband, Burchin, of New Mexico; brother, Kenneth Carlisle of Wesson; and sister, Theda C. Brister of Lincoln County; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
