Funeral services for Glydia Middleton “Ms Pig” Thomas of Meadville are 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, at New Fork United Methodist Church with burial in the Meadville/New Fork Cemetery. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, Jan. 10, from 6 until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 until 1 p.m.

Mrs. Thomas, 88, died Jan. 5, 2014, at Franklin Memorial Hospital. She was born on Jan. 30, 1925, in Meadville to Robert J. and Florence Fells Middleton.

She was a devoted member of New Fork United Methodist Church.
