Funeral services for Peggy Blackwell of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Saturday from 9 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Blackwell, 70, died Jan. 28, 2014, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb. She was born Oct. 15, 1943, to Charles H. Sullivan and Exie Dennis Sullivan.

She was a restaurant worker and a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Robert Sullivan; sisters, Frances Harris and husband, Joe, Katie Nix and husband, Leonard; brothers and sisters-in-law; Charles and Sara Sullivan and James and Colene Sullivan; and two brothers-in-law, W. B. Scott and Lee A. Rast.

Survivors are her husband, Robert E. “Joe” Blackwell; sons, Billy Waye Blackwell and wife, Dennise of Lexington, Ky., Robert Earl Blackwell Jr. and wife, Agnes, of Maryland; daughter, Betty Ann Langford of Jackson; sisters, Charlene Lewis and husband, Paul, of Brookhaven, Winnie Scott of Florence, Elsie Rast of Pearl; sisters-in-law, Ethel White of Brookhaven, Grace Sullivan of Jena, La.; brothers-in-law, James E. Blackwell of Brookhaven, Richard Blackwell and wife, Jane, of Houma, La.; six grandchildren; special friend, Cathy Gayten; special niece, Jena Watts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
