Funeral services for Robert Adrian Lowery Jr. of Jayess are 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, at Sylvarena Baptist Church in Wesson with burial in Magee Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Jayess. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, Feb. 7, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Sylvarena Baptist Church.

Mr. Lowery, 61, died Feb. 3, 2014, at his residence. He was born on Feb. 12, 1952.

He served in the Air Force during Vietnam.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Arthur “Pete” and Betty Lowery and the Rev. Elmer and Eunice Howell; brother, Carl “Sambo” Ray; brother-in-law, Keith Hennington; and stepmother, Pheobe Lowery.

Survivors are his parents, Robert Adrian Lowery and Nancy Joanne Hazelwood; step-mother, Becky Lowery; brother, Thomas L. Lowery and wife Stacy; and sisters, Phoebe E “Libbie” Hennington, Cindy and husband Jerry McGehee; sister-in-law, Susan Ray, and Linda Mehri.

He is also survived by his nieces, Adrienne Miller and husband Dustin, Ashley Lynch and husband J.T., Sarah Lyons and husband Garrett, Lindsey Cooper, Jenny Cagle and husband Aaron; nephews, Anthony Ray and Joseph Ray; and great-nieces and nephews, Kinslee Kate Miller, Gannon Lyons, Sean Cooper and John Cooper.
