Funeral services for Iola Jordan Coward of McCall Creek are 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Hollywood Cemetery, McComb. Bro. Harold Anderson and Bro. Floyd Wingo will be officiating. Harrigill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday, March 30, 2014, from noon until 2 p.m. at Harrigil Funeral Home.

Mrs. Coward, 92, died March 28, 2014, at her residence. She was born on Feb. 22, 1922 in Franklin County to Albert M. Jordan and Ruby McMorris Jordan.

She was retired and worked many years for Weight Watchers as an instructor. She was a member of McCall Creek Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, the Rev. Jessie Hilton Coward; four brothers, Charles F. Jordan, Julius T. Jordan, Wallace R. Jordan, Dwight M. Jordan; and four sisters, Estelle Freeman, Gladys Coward, Maxine Kessler and Opal Futch.

Survivors are her brothers, Joe Jordan and wife, Gayla, of Smithdale and Rodney Jordan of Smithdale; sisters, Jeannette Bailey of Bogue Chitto; and special friends, Beverly and Harold McEwen of McCall Creek.
