Funeral services for Wisie Scott Smith of Wesson are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial in Sweetwater United Methodist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, April 2, 2014, from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Smith, 92, died March 31, 2014, at Brook Manor. She was born on June 14, 1921, to Denon Scott and Della Smith Scott.

She was member of Sweetwater United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Denver Smith; her parents; sisters, Agnes Wooley, Nita Hanenkrat, Audrey Huber; brother, Landon Scott; and granddaughter, Rhonda Smith Thomas.

Survivors are her daughter, Linda Sue Smith and husband, John Butler Smith, of Wesson, Virginia Scott Hurst; two grandchildren, Deanna Edwards and husband, Pittman Edwards Jr., of Cleveland, Trey Thomas, of Brookhaven; five great-grandchildren, Trace Edward, Sara Peyton Edward, John Butler, Anna Thomas and Abby Thomas.
