Funeral services for Toni Alexis “Lexi” Scroggs of Summit are 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Johnston Chapel United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. David Steveline will officiate. Jones Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at Johnston Chapel United Methodist Church and will continue Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Lexi, 19, died April 26, 2014. She was born on Aug. 18, 1994, to Tony and Rhonda Albritton Scroggs.

She graduated from North Pike High School in 2012. Lexi was a very outgoing and loving person. Once you met her, you would never forget her. She had a personality and smile that out shined the stars. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Johnston Chapel United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Melvin and Ava Albritton; her paternal grandparents, Jim and Lana Scroggs; her paternal grandmother, Patricia Brown; and one cousin, John David Van Albritton.

Survivors are her parents; three sisters, Valerie King and partner, Sam Schifano, of Tylertown, Felicia Scroggs and partner, Chriss Morgan, of Liberty, Kimberly Scroggs and partner, Cody Temple, of McComb; one brother, Joshua Boone of Crosby; her great-grandparents, O’Neil and Bobbie Altman of Chapin, S.C.; one aunt, Laura Albritton of Sorrento, La.; aunts and uncles, Leslie and Michael Albritton of Summit, Barbara and David Gay of Summit and Linda and Jeff Stanley of Bogue Chitto; two nephews, Dylan Morgan and Race Willoughby; her “sister” like cousin, Bridget Albritton; longtime close family friends, Kristi and Chris Willoughby; and numerous cousins, close family and friends.

The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Johnston Chapel Methodist Children’s program.
