Memorial Services for Michael Gerard Wood of Natchez are from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014, at Marshall Funeral Home. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Wood, 56, died June 2, 2014, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. He was born on Oct. 25, 1957, in Vicksburg to Albert and Theresa Doherty Wood.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Pamela Wood; one niece, Chrissy Twaddle; one nephew, David Dunson; and special friend, Beverly.

Survivors are his two children, Karla “Cory” Wallace and Kyle Wood and his girlfriend, Jessica; his parents; two grandchildren, Haleigh Beth Wallace and Karleigh Klair Wallace; four sisters, Linda “Pat” McConnell, Mary “Shawn” Anderson, Susie “David” Savage and Tricia “Jeff” Matthews; five brothers, Larry “Becky” Wood, John “Bonnie” Wood, Alan “Stephanie” Wood, Chris “Kim” Wood and Robert Wood; two sister-in-laws, Kim “Lynn” Dunson and Peggy “Bo” Stevens; very close and loving friend, Becky Burns; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
