The Friday edition of The Daily Leader was delayed a little more than two hours due to a power outage in downtown Brookhaven.

Power was out to The Daily Leader and much of downtown until 9:23 a.m. Friday. Production of the daily paper resumed after restoration of electricity, and the paper came off the press a little past noon Friday. The usual press time is 10 a.m.
