Funeral Services for Gena Charmaine Smith of Ruth are 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Clear Branch Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, July 23, 2014, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Clear Branch Baptist Church.

Mrs. Smith, 26, died July 20, 2014, at Tylertown. She was born on June 8, 1988, to James and Mimi Smith.

She was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her daughter, Alana Kay Pitts; and grandfather, J.D. Hardy.

Survivors are her by her fiancé, David Pitts; her parents; son, Jayden Branning; brother, James Smith and wife, Michelle Smith; sister, Katasha Case and husband, Dewain Case; niece, Brieann Case; and nephews, Blake and Nathan Case; grandparents, Dorothy and Leonard Malone and Ruby Hardy; and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles.
