Funeral Services for Jarvis Maurice Blue of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at Center St. Church of Christ with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, from 1 until 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Blue, 25, died Aug. 3, 2014, at University of Mississippi Medical Center. He was born on April 18, 1989, in Brookhaven to Williard “Nicky” Blue III and Nova Lee.

Survivors are his parents; stepmother, Sopia Blue of Brookhaven; four daughters, JaRayla Blue, JaMya Byrd, Jocelynn Evans, C’Riah Calcote, all of Brookhaven; son, Kaden Johnson of Brookhaven; two brothers, Williard Blue IV of Dallas, Texas, and Nicholas Blue of Brookhaven; maternal grandparents, Williard “Nick” Blue Jr. and wife, Lillie S., of Brookhaven; paternal grandparent, Linda Washington of Texas; aunts, Andrea Blue and Renee Blue, both of Brookhaven, Janice Lee of Texas; uncle, Joe Lee and wife, Angie, of Texas; special cousins, Jamie Williams and husband, Isaiah, Jada Swington, Justin Blue and Rachel Bryant.
