Natalie Nicole Prather, of Brookhaven, and Joshua Lloyd Durr, of Brookhaven, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

She is the daughter of Doyle and Debbie Alexander, of Brookhaven, and the late Steve Prather.

He is the son of Deborah Durr, of Brookhaven, and the late Malcolm Durr.

She is the granddaughter of Shirley Freeman, Mitchell and Helen Smith, Gearld and Peggy Alexander, Carroll Prather, all of Brookhaven, Joyce Childrey, of North Carolina, and the late Shelby Freeman.

He is the grandson of the late Hoyit and Margaret Durr and the late Ida Marie Crosby.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Loyd Star Attendance Center and a 2008 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She graduated from Southwest Community College where she received an associate’s degree in nursing. She is currently employed with Golden Living as a registered nurse.

The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Wesson Attendance Center. He is currently employed at Franklin Lumber Company.

The couple will exchange vows at Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at Heritage Family Church. A reception will follow.
