Funeral Services for Betty June Bedford of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in New Salem Church of Christ Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Ms. Bedford, 73, died Sept. 3, 2014, at her residence. She was born on June 20, 1941, to Phillip Jasper Bedford and Nellie Smith Bedford.

She was a shop manager in the automotive industry and was a member of New Salem Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents; grandparents; and one nephew.

Survivors are her brothers, Jim Bedford and wife, Judy, of LaPorte, Texas, Phil Bedford and wife, Rose, of Houston, Texas; sisters, Elois Durr of Brookhaven, Reba Adame and husband, Noah, of Aransas Pass, Texas; special friends, Doug Ashmore and wife, Nancy, of Los Angeles, California, and Danny Ashmore and wife, Janice, of Beaumont, Texas; one niece, Lauri Speeg and husband, Dan, of Brookhaven; and a host of nieces and nephews.
