Funeral Services for Geneva Walker Murray of Brookhaven were 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014, at Bethel Temple United Pentecostal Church with burial at Midway Cemetery in Meadville. Riverwood Family Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014, from 1:30 p.m. until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Murray, 88, died Sept. 12, 2014, at her residence. She was born on June 22, 1926, to John Houston Walker and Frances May McGehee Walker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; six brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors are her husband of 66 years, Lauvahn Murray; son, Milton Ray Murray and wife, Patsy, of Demopolis, Alabama; two grandchildren, Melanie Murray Gaspard and husband, Robert, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Amanda Murray Jones and husband, Keith, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; six great-grandchildren, Jackson Gaspard, Gretta Gaspard, Lawson Gaspard, Will Jones, Mason Jones and John Houston Jones.
