Lady Jaguars capture two victories

The North Pike Lady Jaguars (10-4) win two of three games in Saturday’s slowpitch softball tournament action.
The Lady Jags edged South Jones 5-4 in game one and surpassed Harrison Central 6-4 in game two, before falling to Neshoba Central 10-1 in the finale.

Whitley Howell tossed the win for North Pike with no strikeouts and three walks.
Rickera Martin paced the Lady Jags offense with three singles. Sarah Brock contributed two singles. Hitting safely were Jordan Fitzgerald, Whitney Howell, Jami Spears and Janiah Talbert.

Howell collected her second win on the evening for North Pike with one strikeout and one walk.
Linley Smith, Brock and Martin were the top hitters for the Lady Jags with a pair of singles. Skye James and Fitzgerald hit safely.

Howell suffered the setback on the mound for North Pike with one strikeout and two walks.
Baylee Bryant, Madison Bates, Jenna Brock, Sarah Brock, Martin, Talbert and Fitzgerald powered the Lady Jags offense with a single each.
