Lady Jags win two in tournament action

SUMMIT – The North Pike Lady Jaguars hosted their own slowpitch softball tournament this past Saturday and capture two big victories.

The Lady Jaguars (12-4) edged West Harrison 3-2 and defeated Warren Central 13-6.

Whitley Howell was the winning pitcher in game one for the Lady Jaguars.

Rickera Martin was the offensive leader at the plate for North Pikewith a home run. Baylee Bryant contributed a double and two singles. Hitting safely were Skye James, Linley Smith and Jenna Brock.

Howell earned her second win on the evening on the mound for North Pike.

Martin powered the Lady Jaguars offense in game two with two home runs and a single. James continued to fuel the flames with a home run and a single. Sarah Brock and Bryant provided three singles each. Jenna Brock and Linley Smith contributed a double and a single apiece. Jami Spears, Jordan Fitzgerald and Reanna Ivey hit safely.
