Funeral Services for Myrtle Hisaw Rusche VanLeuvan of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in Bethel Temple Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, from 11 a.m. until time of service at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mrs. VanLeuvan, 71, died Oct. 6, 2014, at Southwest Regional Medical Center. She was born on Sept. 20, 1943, to Ira Lee Hisaw Sr. and Hattie Isabelle Erwin Hisaw.

She was a seamstress and was a member of Charity Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands,

Freddie Rusche and Clarence VanLeuvan; brothers, Ira Lee Hisaw Jr., Perry Hisaw; and sister, Minnie Erwin.

Survivors are her son, Henry Frederick Rusche II; daughters, Marie Martin and Marjorie Brown; brothers, Neal Hisaw, Herbert Hisaw, Larry Hisaw and Thomas Hisaw; sisters Lorean Wallace, Ethel Allred and Debbie Glenn; nine grandchildren, Tara Hoover, Will Melton, Dylann Harris, Kaycie Martin, Ethan Harris, Cassidy Harris, William Frederick Rusche Erickson, Gracie Rusche, Brittany Martin; and her great-grandson, Jon Wyatt Melton; and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
