Funeral Services for Lorena C. Prine of Brookhaven, formerly of Wesson, are 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, from 10 a.m. until time of service at Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive.

Mrs. Prine, 94, died Dec. 20, 2014, at Haven Hall Nursing Home. She was born on Nov. 7, 1920, in Brookhaven to David and Annie Reeves Coon.

She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother, loved her church and was a devoted football fan.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, William Wesley Prine Sr.; three brothers, Stanley Coon, Tom Coon and Maurice Coon; and one sister, May Lester.

Survivors are her two daughters, Rena Prine Bufkin and husband, Jimmie, of Wesson and Rebecca Kay Prine Forman of Kentwood, Louisiana; one son, Dr. William Wesley Prine Jr. and wife, Jeanette, of Clarksville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Wes Prine of Clarksville, Tennessee, Dakin Prine of Alexandria, Virginia, Lori Clayton of Norfolk, Virginia, Ben Bufkin of Wesson; David Bufkin of Benton, Louisiana; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
