Funeral Services for Ruth Stanley Callendar of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in Heucks Retreat Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, from 9 until 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mrs. Callendar, 101, died Dec. 20, 2014, at Haven Hall. She was born on June 12, 1913, to Levi Latham Stanley and Mabel Annabell Adams Stanley.

She was a homemaker and a member of Heucks Retreat Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Earl W. Callendar; two brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors are her son, Dale Callendar and wife, Catherine; daughter, Denise Wood and husband, Jim; four grandchildren, Jassen Callendar, Justin Callendar, Kenneth Wood and Jennifer Wood; and six great-grandchildren, Justin Lee Callendar, Danielle Callendar, Hunter Callendar, Jud Callendar, Carson Wood and Ethan Wood.
